After I completed my undergraduate study at Marmara University Ceramics Department, I received education of double master’s degree on Interdisciplinary Art and Stage Design at California Institute of the Arts (ABD/Los Angeles). During my stay of 5 years in the USA, I took part both as creator and as stage designer in many performances both in Los Angeles and in New York. I worked for the BAD BEHAVIOUR, the joint work of Richard Foreman, one of the great names of the modern theatre, with Sophie Haviland. I joined workshop activities of prominent personalities like Daniel Schmid and Bela Tarr in Los Angeles. I found opportunity work with famous groups and artists like Micheal Counts, Todd Reynolds, The Wooster Group in New York. Furthermore I worked as performance trainer for children at public schools in New York.
Since my return to Turkey, I have been participating in various exhibitions and I have been realizing projects. After I performed the premier of my “Rainbow” project at 14th International Istanbul Theatre Festival, I have been joining projects together with various artists both on national and international platforms. Besides, I worked thirteen years as the instructor of the Interdisciplinary Art course at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory Modern Dance Department, which I have designed myself as well. Seven years I teached the course of “Introduction to Interdisciplinary Art” at Bilgi University, Stage and Performing arts Management Performing Arts Field.
On the other hand I keep organizing workshops which I have developed by using the interdisciplinary art. I am the author and the director of “Silent Presence”, which was awarded the 9th Lions Theatre Award
